About the role
The Food Service Aid supports daily kitchen operations, ensuring meals meet normal and special dietary requirements. The role involves handling food preparation, service, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, dish up and serve food for regular and special diets.
- Assist with receipt, storage and stock control of food supplies.
- Maintain hygiene and safety directives, including washing crockery and cooking utensils.
Required profile
- Willingness to attend prescribed training courses.
- Ability to assist with informal in‑service training of new employees.
