About the role

The Capital Hotels is seeking a Food & Beverage Waiter to deliver friendly, fast, and efficient service across the restaurant, room service, and function areas. You will be a key part of our guest‑focused team, upholding the highest standards of hospitality while maintaining dignity and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in the restaurant, room service, and function spaces.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure service areas are well‑presented.
• Provide a high level of guest service, addressing requests promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with both staff and guests.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Previous restaurant experience is essential.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication with staff and guests.
• Honest, trustworthy, and detail‑oriented.
• Presentable, well‑spoken, and proactive.
• Willingness to work shifts; relocation costs are the applicant’s responsibility.
