Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures a seamless and efficient dining experience that meets brand standards while maximising revenue and controlling costs. This role oversees restaurant operations, inventory, staffing and compliance with health, safety and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the restaurant to maximise profit while delivering agreed service standards.
• Manage food and beverage inventories, control waste and ensure brand‑standard product availability.
• Implement internal controls, administrative tasks and compliance with audit requirements.
• Supervise operations during peak shifts, coordinate menus, resources and maintain stock levels.
• Plan and control staffing levels per shift in line with legal and health‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 or National Diploma in Food & Beverage Management (or equivalent).
• At least one year of food and beverage management experience with strong knowledge of food costing, stock takes and budgeting.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
