Restaurant General Manager – Quick Service Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead our KFC outlet in Wellington, Western Cape. The role involves driving operational excellence, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and developing a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Champion CHAMPS standards and ensure consistent excellence in cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, maintenance, product and speed of service.
• Manage restaurant shifts, forecast labour, control costs, and maintain safety and security of employees, customers and assets.
• Achieve Business Scorecard targets, lead local store marketing initiatives and take corrective action on performance trends.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop a high‑performing, inclusive team while modelling company values.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ management experience in hospitality or quick‑service restaurant environments.
• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) required; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Strong English communication, numeracy and a genuine passion for product quality and the KFC brand.
• Based in the Boland/Western Cape area.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
