Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager at The Hadsten oversees daily operations of the restaurant, bar and kitchen, ensuring safety, compliance and exceptional guest experiences. You will lead a motivated team, coordinate menu development and maintain high standards of service, sanitation and financial control.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a premium dining experience while managing front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.
• Develop, update and price menus and beverage offerings in collaboration with the culinary team.
• Conduct regular safety and sanitation inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Maintain inventory levels, organize storage areas and oversee cash control and tip procedures.
• Prepare financial reports, work with finance on payroll, tip reporting and invoice reviews.
• Support hotel operations by collaborating with front desk and housekeeping.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Hotel Manager and assist with service during peak periods.
• Recruit, train, coach, evaluate performance and manage disciplinary actions.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Five years of fine‑dining restaurant leadership experience.
• Two years of experience delivering service‑training programs for FOH and BOH staff.
• Two years of culinary experience.
• Ability to register in the RBS Portal, complete authorized training and pass the ABC Alcohol Server Certification within 30 days.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 environment.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, email and internet usage.
