Flexi Store Assistant - Premium Fashion Retail

About the role

AVI Limited, through The Spitz Group, is advertising a Flexi Store Assistant position at Spitz in Fourways Mall, Gauteng. The role combines customer service, sales assistance, cashiering and stock duties in a premium fashion retail environment. It is advertised as part-time and requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays and peak trading hours; applicants should confirm the weekly hours and schedule with the employer.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout their shopping experience, including product information, footwear selection and availability guidance
• Support retail sales and help customers identify suitable products and complete purchases
• Perform cashiering duties, process transactions accurately and follow daily cash control and banking procedures, aiming for zero cash variances
• Handle manual transactions when required
• Complete daily stock procedures, assist with customer orders, take part in weekly stock counts and keep the storeroom organised
• Carry out shoe-pairing exercises to keep footwear stock organised

Required profile

• Matric or Grade 12
• Six months to one year of retail experience; previous experience in luxury or fashion retail is preferred
• Detail-oriented, numerically capable and comfortable interacting with customers
• Ability to manage several responsibilities, meet deadlines and work with colleagues
• Interest in fashion and footwear
