About the role
We are seeking a versatile Finishing Machine Operator to run conversion machinery at our Durban label facility. The role involves operating stretch & shrink sealing machines and slitting machines to produce high‑quality label products that meet customer specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and run allocated conversion machines safely and efficiently.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure products conform to specifications.
- Optimize machine performance while minimizing waste.
- Perform routine maintenance, housekeeping and machine cleaning.
- Participate in investigations of rejected products.
- Support multi‑skilling initiatives as required.
Required profile
- Matric Certificate.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Problem‑solving capability.
- Willingness to work shifts and adapt to changing demands.
- Accountable, responsible and flexible attitude.
Required skills
- Operation of Stretch & Shrink Sealing Machines.
- Operation of Slitting Machines.
