Financial Operations Manager

About the role

Hello Group is seeking a high‑caliber Finance Operations Manager to turn complex data into actionable strategy. This fully onsite role in Centurion will lead a team of four Team Leads and their respective payment‑corridor teams, ensuring every business decision is backed by sound analysis and forward‑looking projections.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash reconciliations and funding across all payment corridors, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Lead and support five Team Leads, providing direction, performance feedback, and operational guidance for daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables.
• Establish and monitor SOPs, KPIs, and frameworks to drive accuracy, turnaround time, and operational efficiency.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements through automation and AI tooling.
• Act as the operational point of contact for payment partners, managing exceptions, escalations, and relationship health.
• Collaborate with business units to align financial operations with strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or payment operations with a strong analytical mindset.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple team leads and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of implementing process improvements.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, fully onsite environment.
