Financial Manager – Operations Finance

About the role

The Financial Manager – Operations Finance provides accounting support and insight to the business, overseeing transactional banking, third‑party VAS, and new payment streams. The role ensures accurate reconciliations, prepares management reports, and manages banking, receipting and settlement activities on the Exactus back‑office system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts, banking, settlement, receipting and daily reconciliations.
• Validate and post accurate general‑ledger entries.
• Extract daily reports, monitor unallocated receipts and compile analysis for management.
• Reconcile beneficiary, summary, detail, generic, transactional banking and disbursement accounts.
• Resolve queries promptly and liaise with stakeholders for incident management.
• Oversee invoice payment validation, procurement processes and SLA adherence.
• Support project deliverables, draft SOPs, SLAs, business cases and cost analyses.
• Provide input to business requirements, test and implement financial elements in new systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience with PASA, Bankserv and reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to ensure compliance with bank policies.
