About the role

Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join its leadership team in Cape Town. This senior position will oversee the entire finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure statutory compliance and robust internal controls.
• Provide financial insights to executive leadership to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost optimisation and performance improvement.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Financial Manager role with strong financial management and reporting background.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Excellent commercial acumen and business partnering abilities.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Track record of driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls.
• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
