About the role

PwC is seeking a highly motivated Payments SME at Manager grade to lead and support strategic initiatives across its Payments business. The role combines hands‑on strategic analysis with team leadership and stakeholder management, working closely with senior leaders to shape strategy and drive execution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and refine the Payments business strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
• Identify and assess growth opportunities within the payments ecosystem.
• Lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring quality, timelines and deliverables.
• Provide strategic analysis, develop financial solutions and recommendations for clients.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment.
• Address conflicts, conduct difficult conversations with stakeholders and uphold PwC’s professional standards.

Required profile

• Strong analytical capability and commercial acumen.
• Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and related financial services.
• Proven experience in leading strategic projects at a manager level.
• Ability to motivate, develop and inspire teams while maintaining integrity and authenticity.
• Comfort with technology and innovation to enhance delivery.
