Financial Manager (2-3 years experience)

Stratlab Consulting is seeking a Financial Manager to join its Johannesburg team. The role is aimed at finance professionals with 2‑3 years of experience who want to deepen their expertise across accounting, reporting and business partnering. You will work in a collaborative environment focused on culture fit and long‑term impact.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and management accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and FP&A activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and IFRS 17 reporting standards.
• Collaborate with audit and tax teams to meet statutory requirements.
• Provide commercial finance insights to support business decisions.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, management accounting and reporting.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver accurate results.
• Interest in banking, financial services or commercial finance environments.
