Financial Controller & Management Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing dental and wellness group seeking a dynamic Financial Controller / Management Accountant to strengthen and scale our finance function. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will ensure accurate reporting, robust financial control, and operational efficiency across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations, including reconciliations, bookkeeping, accounts payable and associate payments.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts with accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as the first point of contact for external financial queries and ensure VAT and statutory compliance.
• Collaborate with outsourced finance providers, professional advisors and HR on payroll inputs.
• Leverage Xero ecosystem tools to generate actionable insights and support automation initiatives.
• Assist the Finance Director with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting and ad‑hoc analysis.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent qualification with hands‑on experience.
• Proven experience in a similar finance role, preferably within a multi‑entity environment.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication, integrity and emotional intelligence.
