About the role

Join Old Mutual Personal Financial Advice as a Financial Advisor based in Westrand, Johannesburg. You will help clients achieve their long‑term financial goals by providing personalised advice, managing investments and guiding overall financial wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain lasting client relationships through prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and recommend suitable Old Mutual products.
• Become accredited in Old Mutual Personal Financial Advice products and serve segment customers.
• Follow compliance processes, FAIS regulations and keep CPD points up to date.
• Deliver advice using the proven 6‑step planning process and stay informed of economic, political and regulatory trends.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
• At least 18 months experience in financial services (sales, client service or advisory).
• Regulatory Examination (RE5) completed or in progress.
• Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and clear criminal and credit record.
• Strong communication, planning and analytical abilities.
