Financial Adviser – Vanderbijlpark

About the role

The Financial Adviser will provide new and existing clients with professional, compliant financial advice, planning and suitable product solutions. The role focuses on building sustainable, high‑quality business, maintaining long‑term relationships and contributing to the growth of the Sanlam brand.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored financial advice and planning, using e‑tools or a Para‑Planner, and present solutions that meet client needs.
• Generate new business and meet revenue targets through networking, prospecting, and lead generation across social and business networks.
• Maintain and service client relationships, ensuring ethical, courteous interactions and ongoing portfolio reviews.
• Monitor client activities such as maturities or cancellations, and respond promptly to retain business.
• Document client interactions, update records, and report on contacts, appointments, and revenue against targets on a weekly/monthly basis.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” regulatory examination.
• At least 24 months registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
• Demonstrated ability to achieve production targets, manage compliance and risk, and handle client relationship management.
• Strong communication, tech‑savvy, action‑oriented, and persuasive interpersonal skills.
