Financial Adviser – Mossel Bay

About the role

Sanlam Life Ltd is seeking a Financial Adviser to serve clients in Mossel Bay. The role involves delivering professional financial advice, planning and product solutions, building long‑term relationships and ensuring all activities are compliant and ethical.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial needs analysis and personalised advice to new and existing clients.
• Generate new business through networking, prospecting, social media marketing and referrals.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, monitor portfolios and respond to client events such as maturities or cancellations.
• Achieve revenue and activity targets while promoting the Sanlam brand and adhering to Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Document client interactions, update records and report on contacts, appointments and business issued against targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” regulatory examination and registration with the FSCA for at least 24 months.
• Knowledge of financial advice, production target achievement, compliance and risk management, client relationship management and financial planning.
