About the role
The Financial Adviser will provide new and existing clients with professional financial advice, planning and suitable products. You will build long‑term relationships, generate sustainable business and uphold Sanlam’s brand and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in growing the Sanlam Adviser Business by meeting revenue targets, activity quotas and promoting the brand.
- Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client bases.
- Conduct client consultations, perform fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present tailored solutions.
- Deliver high‑quality client service, ensure ethical interactions and maintain long‑term relationships.
- Monitor, update and report on contacts, appointments, issued business and client records on a weekly/monthly basis.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- FAIS “Fit and Proper” requirements and successful Regulatory Examination.
- Registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for at least 24 months.
