About the role
We are looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join our finance team in Johannesburg East. The business has a diverse footprint across mining and construction, providing a dynamic finance environment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic financial decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily banking transactions.
- Prepare and process salary‑related journals.
- Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Process and reconcile inter‑company transactions.
- Take ownership of the full finance function and ensure accurate financial records.
Required profile
- BCom Accounting or Finance (or equivalent qualification).
- SAIPA or SAICA articles completed.
- Minimum two years post‑articles experience.
- Experience in the mining, construction or equipment industry.
Required skills
- Strong exposure to ERP systems (Sage experience advantageous).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
