Financial Accountant – Full-time

About the role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to take ownership of its finance function in Johannesburg North. This hands‑on role combines financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership, allowing you to directly influence business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, annual financial statements and supporting reports.
• Oversee general ledger management, reconciliations and month‑end close processes.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting and forecasting to support operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Partner with senior management to provide financial insights for strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• BCom in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Solid understanding of the full finance function and prior auditing experience.
• Demonstrated management or team‑leadership experience.
