Finance Manager - Manufacturing Group

About the role

An established international manufacturing group is looking for a Finance Manager to lead its South African finance function in Johannesburg. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will own financial control, reporting and governance across the local business and its subsidiaries, partnering with local and regional leadership and leading a capable team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full financial function, including budgets and cash flow
• Produce monthly multi-entity consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
• Handle annual audits, SARS compliance and IFRS reporting
• Set up subsidiary governance and financial control frameworks

Required profile

• BCom Accounting or Financial Management (Honours preferred)
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or ACCA qualification strongly preferred
• 5 to 8 years of manufacturing finance experience, including 3 to 5 years in management
• A hands-on, accountable leadership style and integrity with senior stakeholders

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling
• Hands-on ERP experience
• Working knowledge of SA tax law and the Companies Act
