Finance Lead

About the role

Snatch.Work, an international finance and digital‑asset services firm, is looking for a Finance Lead to join its Cape Town team. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, you will act as the technical accounting anchor during a critical growth phase, handling complex queries and guiding the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end technical accounting for digital assets, Web3 protocols and cryptocurrency foundations.
• Serve as the primary contact for non‑standard accounting queries and incomplete financial data.
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting policies tailored to digital‑asset and decentralized structures.
• Execute financial processes and balance management using specialised digital‑asset tracking tools.
• Mentor junior finance team members on complex technical accounting scenarios.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification with 3–5 years post‑articles experience, or CIMA/SAIPA qualification with at least 2 years of hands‑on digital‑asset experience.
• Proven track record in crypto, Web3 or digital‑asset accounting workflows.
• Experience handling complex technical accounting issues with incomplete information.

Required skills

• Digital‑asset accounting software such as Bitwave or Cryptoworth.
• Financial reporting and balance‑sheet management tools.

What we offer

• Competitive total compensation package ranging from R1,100,000 to R1,400,000 per year.
