Finance & Accounting Manager (Qualified CA(SA))

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced, self‑driven Finance & Accounting Manager to join the CFO division. This senior role requires a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in financial management, treasury, taxation, governance, reporting and audit.

Key responsibilities

• Manage finance‑related projects and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Oversee the full treasury function, including cash flow, banking relationships and treasury reporting.
• Lead monthly accounting close, divisional reporting and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Implement and maintain IFRS, US GAAP and group financial controls.
• Handle company secretarial duties across the holding company and subsidiaries, ensuring corporate governance compliance.
• Lead tax planning, advisory and risk management for VAT, PAYE, SDL, UIF, corporate income tax, transfer pricing, customs and ad valorem tax, and liaise with SARS.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA) or recognised equivalent.
• Relevant BCom Accounting or Financial Management degree.
• 5–7 years’ managerial experience in finance and accounting.
• Extensive tax experience, including direct interaction with SARS.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, treasury, audit, governance and financial‑control.
