Field Sales Representative

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will promote KWV brands and products across the Western Cape by visiting taverns and other outlets on a contracted call cycle. The role focuses on increasing brand visibility, market share, and consumer awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and consumers.
• Educate consumers about KWV brands and product ranges.
• Drive distribution to ensure product availability.
• Implement promotions and point‑of‑sale merchandising according to the marketing cycle plan.
• Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Negotiate displays, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Adhere to the contracted call cycle and sales drivers.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 (tertiary qualification advantageous).
• At least 2 years of FMCG experience in the liquor industry (advantageous).
• Computer literate.
• Valid driver’s licence with minimum six months driving experience.
• Availability for frequent travel and occasional overnight stays.
• Fully proficient in English, including weekend and flexible working times.

Required skills

• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English (read, write, speak).
• Passion for interacting with consumers in the main market segment.
• Ability to work independently, self‑motivated and innovative.
