F&I Debtors Administrator

About the role

WeBuyCars is hiring a permanent F&I Debtors Administrator in Centurion, Gauteng. The role covers collection and control of finance and insurance (F&I) debtors, including follow-up on overdue items, journal entries and compliance checks.

Key responsibilities

• Send out daily debtor ageing reports and follow up on unallocated items
• Allocate deposits and over allowances through journals
• Collect and control F&I debtors, especially deals older than 5 days
• Follow up daily on long outstanding remittances, outstanding proofs of deposit, DIC invoices and over allowance credit notes
• Keep all DICs up to date throughout the month
• Help prepare documents and accounts for refunds such as warranty, licensing, registration and provision refunds
• Assist with cancellation inquiries for finance transactions with sales and admin departments and clear them on time
• Train new F&I staff and give regular follow-ups
• Check compliance on a set number of finance deals each month and ensure failed deals are rectified

Required profile

• Matric certificate
• National Diploma or degree in Finance is an advantage
• 2 to 3 years of accounting experience
• Own vehicle with a valid driver's licence
