Factory Procurement Manager

About the role

The Factory Procurement Manager will lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities for our Randburg factory. Working on‑site, you will source materials, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery to support production, finance and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and select reliable suppliers for shop‑fitting and construction materials.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage agreements to secure favourable pricing and service levels.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Analyse purchasing data, manage budgets and drive cost‑optimisation without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with production, finance and project teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen supplier relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, supplier evaluation and contract management.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Good understanding of factory or manufacturing operations and material planning.
• Experience in shop‑fitting, construction or related industries is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software or ERP systems.
• Competence in standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
