External Sales Representative – Industrial Materials

About the role

We are seeking an energetic External Sales Representative to promote industrial material solutions, including steel, tube, and fluid‑control products, across the Kimberley region. The role is field‑based, focusing on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering top‑class service to existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and secure new business opportunities.
• Service and expand existing customer accounts.
• Conduct regular on‑site customer visits and product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations and process sales orders using Syspro.
• Provide technical product advice and monitor market trends and pricing.
• Collaborate closely with internal sales teams.
• Prepare and submit call and sales reports.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and achieve monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of sales experience in the steel & tube or fluid‑control industry.
• Proven track record as an external sales representative.
• Retail sales experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel frequently.
• Target‑driven mindset with strong negotiation abilities.

• Syspro (sales order processing system).
