Experienced Commission-Based Financial Adviser (FAIS Fit & Proper)

About the role

Absa is looking for a high-performing, experienced Financial Adviser who is FAIS Fit & Proper compliant to join its team in the Eastern Cape. The role suits a seasoned professional with a proven track record in financial services who wants to earn through a fully commission-driven model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert, holistic financial planning and advisory services
• Manage and grow an existing client portfolio (if applicable)
• Sourcing and converting new business opportunities
• Deliver tailored investment, risk and insurance solutions
• Maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service
• Ensure full compliance with FAIS and regulatory requirements
• Stay informed on market trends and product developments

Required profile

• Fully FAIS Fit & Proper compliant (non-negotiable)
• RE5 certification (essential)
• Minimum 3-5+ years' experience as a Financial Adviser or in a similar advisory role
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Established client base (advantageous)
• Own reliable transport
• Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
