Experienced Clinical Nurse (R/N) – Randburg Medicross

About the role

The Clinical Nurse (R/N) at Randburg Medicross will provide holistic, person‑centred nursing care to patients, families and the community, coordinating with a multidisciplinary health team.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in the unit.
• Communicate with families and health professionals, acting as a patient advocate when necessary.
• Ensure effective communication between nursing management and the unit to resolve care issues.
• Deliver advanced nursing care in line with SOPs, standards and medical direction.
• Initiate, direct and maintain emergency treatment (RESUS) across all wards and departments.
• Interview patients and families to obtain background information and identify immediate and long‑term needs.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (R/N) with proven clinical experience.
• Ability to coordinate patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with families and health professionals.
• Capability to act as a patient advocate and manage emergency situations.
• Commitment to holistic, person‑centred nursing practice.
