Expat Contract Manager

About the role

The Expat Contract Manager will lead raise bore and drilling operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and profitably. This role is responsible for operational performance, financial results and client satisfaction while coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage raise bore and drilling activities to meet safety, efficiency and profitability targets.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, performance monitoring and client relationship management.
• Coordinate engineering, logistics, finance, HR and SHEQ functions across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, financial, safety and operational standards.
• Drive production performance, equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Business, Operations, Contract or Project Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining, industrial or construction operations/project management.
• Strong knowledge of mining safety systems, quality standards and operational management.
• Proven leadership, planning, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel, work rotational shifts and operate in underground environments.
