Executive Head: CBU Postpaid Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Executive Head – CBU Postpaid Finance Business Partner is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end financial planning, decision‑making support and performance insights for the Postpaid Commercial Line of Business. The role partners with commercial teams to drive contribution margin optimisation and capital investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business partnering for the LoB, preparing business cases, post‑implementation reviews and contribution‑margin analysis.
• Own the month‑end close, early view and rolling forecast processes, providing trend insights and validation to business partners.
• Drive the annual budget and long‑range planning (LRP) processes, translating KPI/KFI trends into actionable insights.
• Produce LoB‑specific reporting on revenue, direct costs and profitability, delivering performance narratives and efficiency targets.
• Build and maintain analytical models for MEC, RF, budget, LRP and business cases, collaborating with data & analytics teams.
• Manage the IBRO framework at LoB level, linking KPIs to contribution‑margin drivers.
• Lead and develop a direct finance business partnering team while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Communicate insights clearly across multiple channels, preparing high‑quality written material for executive management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of mobile communication products, devices and channel distribution agreements.
• Deep understanding of business drivers, sensitivities and financial performance metrics.
• Proven ability to simplify and standardise financial modelling and reporting.
• Experience influencing senior commercial, sales and regional teams.
