ESL Teacher & Cambridge Exams Coordinator

About the role

EF Cape Town Campus is looking for an enthusiastic ESL Teacher who will also coordinate Cambridge English examinations. You will deliver General English, exam‑preparation and special‑interest courses while ensuring smooth administration of Cambridge exams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging General English, Cambridge exam preparation and SPIN lessons.
• Inspire students through interactive, immersive classroom activities.
• Track attendance, assess progress and provide regular feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment and promote campus activities.
• Prioritise student safeguarding in line with EF policies.
• Coordinate all Cambridge exam processes from registration to results, liaising with Cambridge Assessment English and internal teams.
• Manage exam entries, timetables, speaking test schedules and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Cambridge regulations, deadlines and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Support teachers delivering Cambridge exam preparation courses.

Required profile

• Experience teaching General English and exam‑preparation courses to international learners.
• Ability to organise and administer standardized language examinations.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with students, Cambridge officials and internal departments.
• Commitment to student safety and wellbeing, following safeguarding policies.
