Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary

About the role

The Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary will work at Life Renal Dialysis in Kempton Park, supporting the Renal Unit Manager and delivering safe, evidence‑based care to patients with end‑stage renal failure. This full‑time position focuses on holistic patient care while operating under the supervision of registered and enrolled nurses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with company policies and clinical guidelines.
• Adhere to ethical standards, HR policies, and report any misconduct.
• Participate in unit projects, campaigns, and employee wellness initiatives.
• Complete mandatory inductions, CPD activities and maintain CPR certification.
• Manage personal absenteeism and communicate concerns to the Unit Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment, including proper stockroom organization and equipment storage.
• Identify and suggest cost‑saving measures at the unit level.
• Support redeployment to other units as operational needs arise.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary qualification with registration as required.
• Ability to work under supervision of registered/enrolled nurses.
• Commitment to professional conduct, uniform standards and ethical behaviour.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and performance reviews.

Required skills

• Current CPR certification.
• Basic stock management and record‑keeping.
• Familiarity with clock‑in/clock‑out attendance systems.
