Enrolled Nurse

About the role

A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse at Life Nkanyisa Baneng Care Centre, reporting to the Unit Manager. The purpose of the role is to carry out nursing activities that ensure quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out nursing duties that meet the requirements of quality patient care, in line with SANC regulations, relevant legislation and Life Healthcare policies and procedures
• Maintain health, safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe patient environment
• Use resources effectively and maintain equipment properly
• Keep accurate records
• Support the continued education of patients
• Build effective relationships with patients, doctors and other medical personnel

Required profile

• Matric
• Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
• Registration with SANC
• Ability to work shifts according to the operational requirements of the hospital
• An understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players is an advantage

Required skills

• Computer proficiency is an advantage
• Competencies include problem-solving, attention to detail, resilience, building relationships, customer responsiveness, ethical behaviour and professional and technical proficiency
