Enrolled Nurse - Critical Care, Medical, Cardiology, Surgical and Orthopaedic

About the role

Mediclinic Vergelegen is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide safe, quality nursing care across critical care, medical, cardiology, surgical and orthopaedic units. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi‑disciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse Certificate (essential).
• CPD courses in specific speciality area (desired).
• No minimum experience required (essential).
• 1 year post‑qualification experience in a general or specialised unit (desired).

• Basic life support trained.
• Infection prevention and control.
• Pharmacology.
