Employment Taxes Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking a motivated Senior Associate to join its Employment Tax team. You will support the delivery of practical employment tax advisory services, helping clients navigate complex payroll, fringe‑benefit and cross‑border tax issues.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on correct PAYE, SDL and UIF treatment for various remuneration components.
• Perform payroll set‑up reviews, payroll coding reviews and IRP5 reconciliations.
• Provide consulting on fringe benefits, including identification, classification and valuation in line with the Income Tax Act.
• Advise on employer obligations for both local and foreign employees, covering cross‑border employment tax implications.
• Support global mobility projects, due‑diligence engagements and employment tax audit assistance.
