Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain firmware for microcontroller‑based electronic products. The role works closely with hardware engineers and cross‑functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C/C++ for microcontroller platforms.
• Design, implement and test firmware for new product features.
• Debug, optimise and troubleshoot embedded applications.
• Integrate with hardware, sensors, communication protocols and peripherals.
• Participate in code reviews and produce technical documentation.
• Support product verification, field troubleshooting and post‑release maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on embedded software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN and Ethernet.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
