Electrical Engineer – Power Systems & Design

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The role focuses on power systems, electrical design, and the delivery of industrial projects across consulting, manufacturing, mining, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and installations.
• Support power distribution, low‑voltage (LV) and medium‑voltage (MV) projects and electrical infrastructure designs.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Help with fault finding and technical troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, specifications and reports.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Exposure to power systems, electrical design and distribution networks.
• Basic knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations.
• Qualification: BEng, BSc, BTech or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• South African residency or a valid work permit.
