E-Commerce Customer Support & Sales Specialist (UK Remote)

About the role

A fast-growing UK e-commerce business selling home improvement and interior products (wall panels, tiles, flooring, bathroom fittings, lighting and more) is looking for an experienced, customer-focused specialist to act as the first point of contact for its customers by email and phone. The role is fully remote, follows UK business hours and pays £750 GBP. It is open only to candidates living in and legally eligible to work in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls and emails, and make outbound calls when required
• Respond to enquiries quickly and professionally, resolve order queries and customer issues
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM
• Work with the UK team to deliver a smooth customer experience
• Help clear enquiries and meet inbox SLAs
• Support continuous improvement of customer service processes

Required profile

• 2+ years in customer service, customer care or contact centre environments
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Experience supporting UK, Australian or international customers
• Strong telephone manner and ability to manage several priorities in a fast pace
• Stable high-speed internet and a professional home office setup
• Highly desirable: ecommerce, retail or order fulfilment experience; CRM experience; handling high volumes of enquiries; occasional weekend work on a rotating roster
