Appointment Setter (Australian Hours) - Remote

About the role

The client is an Australian eCommerce-focused accounting and business advisory firm offering accounting, bookkeeping, tax, Virtual CFO, financial modelling and strategic advisory services. It is looking for a Sales Development Representative / Appointment Setter to engage prospective clients, qualify opportunities, handle objections and book appointments for the sales team. The role is 100% remote, strictly for South Africa-based candidates working Australian business hours, with pay of up to $2,000 AUD per month.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage potential clients through outbound calls, emails and other outreach channels.
• Qualify prospects based on their needs, business requirements and level of interest.
• Book qualified appointments for the sales team.
• Handle objections confidently and communicate the value of the company's services.
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in the CRM.
• Follow up with prospects consistently and professionally.
• Meet and consistently achieve appointment-setting and activity KPIs.
• Work with the sales team to improve outreach strategies, messaging and conversion rates.
• Take part in coaching, training and regular performance reviews.

Required profile

• Previous experience in appointment setting, SDR, business development or outbound sales.
• Proven experience in outbound prospecting and lead generation.
• Strong objection-handling and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Strong organisation, follow-up and time-management skills.
