Divisional Operations Manager – FMCG (Pretoria)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Divisional Operations Manager to lead our FMCG division in Pretoria. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product availability, and supporting growth objectives across sales and merchandising services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and merchandising plans aligned with KPIs and budgets.
• Oversee inventory management, supply‑chain coordination, and promotional execution to maximise in‑store visibility.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, divisional and regional managers to resolve issues and capture market trends.
• Lead, mentor and develop large teams, fostering engagement and alignment with strategic goals.
• Utilise analytics to monitor competition, adjust operational plans and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of operations management experience in the FMCG sector.
• At least 3 years in a middle‑management role with a proven track record of leading large teams.
• Strong leadership, financial acumen, advanced problem‑solving and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using data analytics platforms.
