Director - Transitions

About the role

WNS (Holdings) Limited, a leading Business Process Management (BPM) company with 44,000+ employees across 16 countries, is hiring a Director - Transitions in Cape Town. The role leads transitions projects, manages project financials and metrics, and works closely with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and report thoroughly to clients, internal stakeholders and transition leaders
• Review projects proactively, managing risk, issues, escalations and milestones
• Identify areas for efficiency improvement and implement them
• Build close rapport with key internal stakeholders and clients
• Manage project escalations and conflicts
• Mentor and coach direct reports
• Ensure positive transition outcomes: project financials, customer experience and metrics delivery
• Lead multiple initiatives or projects concurrently where applicable
• Respond to RFI/RFPs with the solutions team and take on additional transition responsibilities such as capability building
• Follow compliance and continuous improvement of the WNS Transition Methodology

Required profile

• Matric
• Excellent project management skills across a wide range of project types, complexities, domains and geographies
• Strong self-starting, independent and consultative skills, with strong organisational, presentation and interpersonal abilities
• Deep understanding of BPO business aspects such as QA, MIS, SLA and baselining
• Ability to work shifts

Required skills

• Strong CRM skills
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus
• Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt knowledge or certification is a plus
• Strong analytical, planning, organisational and time management skills
• Research, reporting and documentation skills, discretion and confidentiality
• Financial acumen and technology and system orientation
