Director of Operations

About the role

This is a build‑and‑scale leadership position with a high‑growth, international specialty chemicals manufacturer. You will be responsible for expanding and optimising operations across multiple sites while working closely with global executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the ramp‑up of operations at several manufacturing sites.
• Scale processes, systems and teams to meet rapid growth targets.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategy with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with process safety standards and regulated environments.

Required profile

• Proven operational leadership for at least one manufacturing or processing facility.
• Experience in technically complex chemical or process manufacturing environments.
• Track record of scaling operations and delivering process improvements.
• Hands‑on, accountable leadership style.
• Preferably holds a degree in Chemical Process Engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of process safety.
• Knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments.
