DevOps - Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps – Infrastructure Engineer to join our cutting‑edge team in Bryanston, Johannesburg. You will design, automate and maintain cloud‑native solutions on AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, security and reliability across our platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Monitor and optimise performance with Datadog, Grafana or Prometheus.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and support containerised workloads.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement automation and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (AWS SysOps, Azure Administrator, AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA, CKAD).

• AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.) and Azure services.
• Kubernetes and EKS cluster management.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK.
