DevOps Engineer: PowerSense®

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer you will join Azoteq’s multidisciplinary PowerSense Design and Development team, focusing on the development and operation of IoT product solutions. You will own the cloud infrastructure, automate CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the security and reliability of the technology stack throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deploy cloud and containerised environments, optimising cost and performance.
• Design, manage and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security checks, enforce compliance frameworks and run vulnerability scans.
• Implement monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and create operational dashboards.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, resolve outages and implement preventive measures.
• Support products and services through their full lifecycle, including updates and releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA and operations to streamline delivery.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer).
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems.

• Linux operating systems.
• Scripting with Bash, Python and Node.js.
• Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as code tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Database administration: PostgreSQL, Timescale.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, Akamai, Hetzner.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana.
