Depot Administrator / Clerk – Ermelo

About the role

An opportunity exists for a Depot Clerk/Depot Administrator to join the team at our Ermelo branch in Mpumalanga. The role requires a high level of ethics, integrity and alignment with PathCare values while providing frontline support to patients and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform frontline reception duties and greet clients.
• Check and capture patient data accurately.
• Handle payment of accounts and process banking transactions.
• Respond to account queries and provide administrative support.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Completed or willing to complete the depot administrator examination.
• Relevant client‑service or frontline experience, preferably in a pathology/medical environment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and adaptability.
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure both independently and in a team.
• Positive attitude, flexible work style and an acceptable performance record.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with knowledge of Skylims (advantageous).
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
