Data Surveillance Analyst – Remote (EMEA)

About the role

Parexel is seeking a Data Surveillance Analyst to support its Data Surveillance process across multiple EMEA locations. The role is fully remote and involves analysing scientific and operational data, developing surveillance plans, and presenting findings to study teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support cross‑functional study teams with expertise in Data Surveillance processes and related technologies.
• Develop robust Data Surveillance Plans, including Key Risk Indicators and Quality Tolerance Limits.
• Configure, maintain and operate Data Surveillance technologies.
• Review data to identify trends, outliers, emerging risks and systemic issues; document findings.
• Present findings to internal and client teams and recommend follow‑up actions.
• Participate in internal/external meetings, audits and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP, local regulations and Parexel SOPs.
• Collaborate with the DS team to compile signals into client‑ready lists and produce Central Monitoring Reports.
• Support close‑out activities for Data Surveillance.

Required profile

• Degree in medical, biological science, pharmacy or data analytics (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years experience in medical, clinical or data management within CRO or pharma.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Experience with adaptive monitoring design studies or central monitoring.
• Ability to interpret data quality trends and promptly escalate issues.
