About the role
Epol is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to ensure production planning aligns with customer orders and to provide seamless service delivery. The role involves daily interaction with customers, dispatchers, and internal teams to guarantee accurate and timely deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Understand and communicate customer requirements while following all relevant procedures.
- Manage the delivery process, coordinating with customers, dispatchers, and supervisors to ensure full receipt of products.
- Oversee the uplift process, ensuring stock retrieval and accurate documentation.
- Address customer complaints within your scope and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain positive customer relationships by adhering to company values and service standards.
- Communicate delivery issues promptly to customers, transporters, and dispatch clerks.
- Process delivery notes and ensure timely order placement.
- Escalate slow deliveries or off‑loading challenges to supervisors.
- Support safety, health, environmental, and quality standards, including ISO compliance.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification; preferably a certificate in Supply Chain Management.
- 2–3 years of experience in a customer‑service‑oriented environment.
- Strong numeric reasoning and problem‑solving abilities.
- High level of honesty, integrity, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
