About the role
The Customer Service Agent will be the primary point of contact for patients and clients who have questions about medical billing and invoices. Working in a fast‑paced call centre environment, you will use Salesforce CRM to manage inquiries, provide clear explanations, and ensure a positive experience.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound voice calls and email tickets related to medical billing and invoice queries.
- Provide accurate information on charges, payment terms, account balances and payment arrangements.
- Actively chase overdue debts using phone and other communication methods.
- Escalate complex billing issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Record all interactions precisely in the Salesforce CRM system.
- Maintain compliance with UK GDPR and company data‑protection standards.
- Meet performance metrics for quality, productivity and customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a contact‑centre or customer‑service role, preferably with billing or medical‑billing exposure.
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial discussions with empathy.
