Customer Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Advisor to join our team in Cape Town. The role involves handling customer inquiries and complaints across multiple channels, ensuring a fast, accurate and friendly resolution while meeting key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and outbound contacts from internal and external customers via phone, email, chat or other channels.
• Record all interactions accurately in the designated systems and comply with data‑protection regulations.
• Deliver a “right‑first‑time” service, aiming to resolve issues on the first contact.
• Escalate complex cases in line with company policy and support the resolution of escalated complaints.
• Monitor and achieve KPI targets related to response time, resolution rate and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of data‑protection legislation.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members as experience grows.
