Cost Leadership Manager – Africa

About the role
AngloGold Ashanti is seeking a Manager to lead Cost Leadership initiatives across its African mining operations. The role focuses on embedding a global Cost Management standard, driving efficiency, and ensuring that every dollar spent delivers maximum value.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the rollout and consistent application of the Cost Leadership standard at all African sites.
- Coach Finance Business Partners to improve cost outcomes, emphasizing technical and analytical capabilities.
- Gather and act on feedback from Operations stakeholders to refine the Cost Leadership approach.
- Review site technical reports and data, providing actionable improvement suggestions.
- Organise periodic Cost Leadership maturity assessments across the region.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing of cost insights and challenges among sites and with peers in other regions.
- Collaborate with the central Cost Leadership team to propose enhancements to the global standard.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.
